Putty Tales and Trails was written from a series of interviews with people who grew up, worked or lived in Putty NSW from the 1930s until 2014. Dairy farmers, loggers and cattlemen reveal their joys and hardships of life in a small, remote, rural community. The newcomers, the city folk seeking isolation to write or to escape busy lives, have different concepts to living in the bush.
