In this book are Valerie's unique photographs with descriptions and stories of the artists she met. They capture the essence of early Aboriginal art. 
 
Her collection of art and artefacts depicted in this book were formerly housed in Yerranderie. In 2012 Valerie donated the collection via the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute to the Gun-dun-gurra indigenous people of Katoomba, New South Wales.
